Internet Explorer 9, with faster graphics

Microsoft announced that it will present the beta version of Internet Explorer 9, competition in Chrome, Firefox and Safari, which among other improvements will have improved graphics acceleration. In his blog Microsoft described the advantages of full against partial acceleration. The company says that the beta will have full hardware acceleration of everything, including text, images, backgrounds and HTML5 video and audio.

Microsoft is referring to the demo in which a laptop with two IE9 are running the HTML 5 HD view using "very little of processor power," while "other browsers use all CPU resources while running only one video.
From Mozilla immediately defended: "They are wrong, Firefox has all four acceleration which they describe."
